Angular and flexural limb deformities
Bent legs in foals are a common problem. Horses can be born with bent legs, or the problem can develop in the first few weeks or months of life. The majority will self-correct with time, but some cases will either fail to improve or get progressively worse, necessitating veterinary treatment. In this article published earlier this year in Horse & Hound, Matt Smith gives an overview of the condition and its treatment.
