We are currently recruiting for positions starting summer 2026. We are looking for recent graduates to join our team.
NEH is one of the largest equine hospitals in Europe. The hospital was purpose built and opened in 2008, and has RCVS accreditation as a Tier 3 specialist equine hospital. Clinical services are run by our specialists in surgery, medicine, diagnostic imaging, anaesthesia, and sports medicine and rehabilitation.
The internship rotates on a weekly basis between services (surgery and orthopaedics, medicine and critical care, anaesthesia, diagnostic imaging, in-patient care, nights).
The internship provides training and experience suitable for most equine post-graduate specialist qualifications and has an excellent track record of successfully preparing candidates for residency positions. The training also provides invaluable experience for future work in equine practice. All veterinary surgeons are given the opportunity to undertake a project during the internship.
For more information about the internship have a look through our intern brochure.
