Hospital Technician
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a hard-working and enthusiastic team player to join our team as a Hospital Technician in our busy, purpose-built Equine Hospital.
Newmarket Equine Hospital is committed to outstanding standards of patient care and the position will predominantly involve supporting the nurses with the day to day running of the hospital. In this varied non-clinical role you will be responsible for the cleanliness of clinical areas and equipment, restocking examination rooms and assisting in the pharmacy/dispensary.
A full UK driving license would be advantageous.
Veterinary/equine experience is not necessary as full training will be provided.
40 hours per week.

BVSc MRCVS
Jess graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2025 and joined NEH shortly afterwards. Jess is very excited to continue her training at NEH and has a particular interest in surgery and sports medicine.
BSc VetMB MRCVS
Jeremy qualified as a vet in 1998 from Cambridge University having previously done a degree in Animal Science at Nottingham University.
He enjoys all aspects of equine practice, especially sport and leisure horse veterinary work and equine dentistry. He is normally accompanied by his trusty canine companion, Ricky (from Romania) while out on his visit rounds.
He is a keen polo player in his spare time and loves breeding and training young ponies.
